The Government of Hungary has released a draft version of the list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2013, based upon the recommendation of the Hungarian National Economy Minister, György Matolcsy.
As has been the case for the last few years (2011-10-15, 2010-11-21, 2009-09-29, 2008-07-22, 2007-11-20, and 2006-09-12), the aforementioned announcement includes the list of bridge, and other one-off, public holidays for the calendar year 2013, along with the list of Saturdays that will be regular working days, in compensation.
The aforementioned applies to both the private and public sectors ("E rendelet hatálya kiterjed minden munkáltatóra és az általuk foglalkoztatottakra").
