The Association of Banks in Lebanon has announced that Monday, April 9, 2012, and Monday, April 16, 2012, had been declared a bank holiday for all banks in Lebanon, to commemorate both upcoming Easter Mondays.
As per the aforementioned announcement, these are labeled "public holidays", but based on precedent (2011-12-15 and 2011-11-01), we expect these 2 additional bank holidays/public sector holidays to only be observed by banks, the financial sector and the government and public sector.
