The government of the Macau SAR has extended its previously-released list of official Macau non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2012.

In addition to the Macau annual public holidays (20-Aug-2008 and 28-Dec-1999), the original official list of Macau public holidays for 2012 (02-Aug-2011) also included 6 additional, one-off public holidays (Special Grant for exempt from work by The Chief Executive), as was announced separately, last month (22-Jul-2011).

As per the aforementioned "Special Grant for exempt from work by The Chief Executive on 25 September 2012", Wednesday, October 3, 2012, has also been declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Macau.
