The Sri Lankan Ministry of Public Administration has announced that, once again, the date of the upcoming Hajj public holidays (Feast of Sacrifice) had been changed, this time from its earlier gazetted date of Friday, October 26, 2012, to Saturday, October 27, 2012.

Contrary to what happened in similar circumstances last year (2011-11-01), when the decision was made as the earlier gazetted date for the 2011 Hajj public holiday was a Sunday, this year's decision was made following an announcement by the Colombo Grand Mosque.
