Sudanese Public Holiday January 1st

The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Sudan has declared that Tuesday, January 1, 2013, would be a public holiday in all parts of the country on the occasion of the fifty-seventh anniversary of the independence of Sudan.

The aforementioned announcement, for 2013, is in line with last year's (27-Dec-2011) announcement of the list of official non-working national public holidays in the Republic of Sudan for the calendar year 2012, as the list of official non-working national public holidays in the Republic of Sudan for the calendar year 2013 has not yet been announced.
