Algerian Ashura 1435 Public Holiday

The Algerian public sector ministry (Direction Générale de la Fonction Publique) has announced that tomorrow, Thursday, November 13, 2013, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Algeria on account of the "Fête de l'Achoura 1435 de l'Hégire" (Hijri 1435 Ashura).

As usual (2012-11-14, 2012-08-17 and 2011-02-13), the aforementioned announcement that Thursday, November 13, 2013, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Algeria on account of the Hijri 1435 Ashura, follows an earlier communiqué by the Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments ("Ministère des Affaires religieuses et du Wakf").
