The Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, has announced that the Armenian Government had declared Monday, May 27, 2013, the day before the upcoming First Republic Day annual public holiday, as another one-off non-working public holiday so "that the citizens will have the opportunity to rest for four days".

As was done in previous instances of a bridge public holiday (02-May-2013, 23-Jun-2012, 18-Apr-2012, 22-Feb-2012, 24-Feb-2011 and 10-Sep-2010), in compensation for this one-off non-working public holiday, Saturday, June 1st, 2013, will be a regular working day in Armenia.
