Bhutanese 2014 Public Holidays Announced

The Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan has released the official list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the calendar year 2014.

The announced list of 2014 public holidays in Bhutan confirms, again (12-Oct-2012, 04-Jan-2012, 05-Nov-2010 and 13-Jan-2010), the re-instatement of the Thrue Bab (Blessed Rainy Day) national public holiday (16-Sep-2009) that had been canceled a few years before (03-Jan-2007).

Contrary to last year's list of 2013 non-working public holidays in Bhutan (12-Oct-2012), when the Blessed Rainy Day public holiday was off by a month, the aforementioned list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the calendar year 2014 contains the correct date for the Blessed Rainy Day.
