Indian Bank Holiday Cancelled in Jammu and Kashmir

The Government of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir has announced that the upcoming, September 30, bank holiday, would not be observed as a bank holiday on account of the "Mid-Year Accounts Closing".

As per the aforementioned announcement, bank business units and offices shall observe a normal working day on September 30, which shall be a regular working day for banks under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
