The official list of non-working public holidays in Iran for the upcoming Persian year 1392, running from March 21, 2013, to March 20, 2014, has been released.

The aforementioned follows the draft list of official public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1392, which was released earlier this year (2013-01-11).

That draft list of official public holidays was the same as in recent years (2012-03-24, 2011-03-05, 2010-03-16, 2009-03-04, 2008-03-11, and 2007-03-08), and it mainly moved a few public holidays based on the Islamic Calendar to the following day.

According to the aforementioned draft of official public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1392, running from March 21, 2013, to March 20, 2014, for the 8th year in a row, the list of official public holidays in Iran still includes all five annual public holidays meant to have been canceled in 2005 by Iran's Majles Social Committee (2005-08-18).

The aforementioned definitive and official list of public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1392, running from March 21, 2013, to March 20, 2014, as compared to the January draft, does add a second day to the 2013 Eid-e-Fitr public holiday in Iran.
