Libyan Hijri Public Holiday November 5

Libya's ruling National Transitional Council has announced that Tuesday, November 5, 2013, would be the date of the non-working public holiday to be observed throughout Libya for the Islamic New Year 1435.

The aforementioned announcement follows an announcement from Dar Al-Ifta that the Muharram Moon could not be detected.
