Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Friday, August 2, 2013, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Macedonia "for all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia" on account of the upcoming "Republic Day" public holiday in Macedonia.

The above is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2013 public holidays in Macedonia, as published earlier this year (2013-01-01), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and Br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
