The government of Nepal has announced that tomorrow, Friday, November 8, 2013, had been declared a nationwide non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming Chhath annual non-working public holiday of Nepal.
The aforementioned announcement represent a departure from last spring's (2013-04-24) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2070 (April 2013-April 2014), as the Chhath public holiday of Nepal in that document had been specified as a regional public holiday in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal's capital, although in recent years the Chhath public holiday of Nepal has often been observed at the national level (2011-10-30).
