The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared Thursday, July 11, 2013, as a bank holiday throughout Pakistan on account of the first Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1434 AH.
The aforementioned date of Thursday, July 11, 2013, as a bank holiday throughout Pakistan on account of the first Ramzan-ul-Mubarak, is a day later than the date contained in the list of expected dates for non-working public holidays and optional holidays for the calendar year 2013 in Pakistan, as released by Pakistan's Ministry of Interior, in consultation with Karachi's Meteorological Department, earlier this year (2013-02-04).
