Late last night, the government of Peru issued an executive order (Decreto Supremo N° 062-2013-PCM) which amends the previously-announced list of public sector holidays in Peru for the calendar year 2013.
The aforementioned decree, issued by the Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, thus amends the list of public sector holidays in Peru for the calendar year 2013 which was announced at the beginning of this year (2013-01-01) in the (Decreto Supremo No. 123-2012-PCM).
That decree declared 9 additional public sector holidays in Peru for the calendar year 2013, and last night's decree amends it by removing Thursday, August 29, 2013, from the list of 2013 public sector holidays in Peru ("Modifican art.1° del D.S. N° 123-2012- PCM, excluyéndose el 29 de agosto de los días declarados no laborables para trabajadores del sector público durante el año 2013").
