The Philippines Government has issued a Proclamation which finally specifies Tuesday, October 15, 2013, as the date for the observance of the upcoming public holiday to mark Eidul Adha in the Philippines in 2013.
The aforementioned announcement, and last summer's announcement of the date of the 2013 Eid'l Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holiday in the Philippines (01-Aug-2013), completes the official list of 2013 non-working pubic holidays in the Philippines, first announced, albeit partially, last year (01-Sep-2012) in Proclamation No. 459, s. 2012.
In other recent Philippines public holidays news, Philippines President, Benigno Aquino III, signed Proclamation No. 655, s. 2013, which lists the annual special and regular non-working public holidays in the Philippines for the calendar year 2014 (30-Sep-2013) and soon afterwards (01-Oct-2013), he also signed Proclamation No. 656, s. 2013, which declared Monday, October 28, 2013, as an additional one-off non-working public holiday throughout the Philippines on account of the Synchronized Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections.
