Sierra Leone March 8 Public Holiday Confirmed

The Office of the President of Sierra Leone has confirmed that Friday, March 8, 2013, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Sierra Leone, to mark International Women's Day in Sierra Leone.

The aforementioned announcement follows the announcement, a couple of years ago (2011-03-30), by President Ernest Bai Koroma, that as from the following year, International Women's Day, on March 8, would be recognized as a public holiday throughout Sierra Leone.
