The Government of South Sudan, through its Ministry of Labor, Public Service, and Human Resource Development, has announced the dates of the upcoming non-working public holidays for the 2013 Ed-Ul-Fitr in South Sudan.

As per the statement released by the South Sudanese Ministry of Labor, Public Service, and Human Resource Development, 2 additional days of non-working public holidays will be observed on Friday and Saturday, August 9 and 10, 2013, on the occasion of the upcoming 2013 Ed-Ul-Fitr in South Sudan.

Contrary to last year (2012-08-18) and the announced official non-working public holidays in South Sudan for the calendar year 2013 (2013-03-01), these 2 additional days of non-working public holidays on Friday and Saturday, August 9 and 10, 2013, on the occasion of the upcoming 2013 Ed-Ul-Fitr in South Sudan, are not limited to Muslims only ("all the Government Institutions, Commissions, UN Agencies, Diplomatic Missions, International and National NGOs, Private Sector and the Public at large").
