Turkmenistan's President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has signed a decree ("On the celebration of Eid al-Adha") declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan, October 15-17, 2013, on account of the upcoming Kurban Bayramy (Feast of Sacrifice).

The dates of the aforementioned announcement all fall in the middle of the week. Last year, an initial decree (24-Oct-2012) declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan on account of the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice, was later extended by one day (25-Oct-2012).
