Turkmenistan's President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has signed a decree ("On the celebration of Eid al-Adha") declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan, October 15-17, 2013, on account of the upcoming Kurban Bayramy (Feast of Sacrifice).
The dates of the aforementioned announcement all fall in the middle of the week. Last year, an initial decree (2012-10-24) declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan on account of the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice, was later extended by one day (2012-10-25).
