Ukraine January 2014 Public Holidays

The deputy social policy minister of the Ukraine, Lidiya Drozdova, has announced a resolution, passed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine, which extends the January 2014 non-working public holidays to 7 consecutive days off.

With the aforementioned declaration of January 2, 3, and 6, 2014, as one-off non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, the January 2014 public holidays in the Ukraine will run from January 1 to 7, 2014, consecutively.

As was done in the past (2012-12-19, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), these additional one-off bridge public holidays will be compensated by corresponding working Saturdays.
