The aforementioned declaration of Friday, May 2nd, 2014, as a non-working public holiday throughout Bhutan, is in line with the official list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the calendar year 2014, released last fall (15-Nov-2013) by the Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan.
