Egyptian Public Holiday May 27

Egyptian Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mehleb, has announced that Egyptian authorities have declared tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27, 2014, as another one-off additional electoral non-working public holiday in Egypt on account of the second day of voting in the current Egyptian presidential elections.

On the last presidential election (2012-06-13), then Egyptian Prime Minister, Kamal al-Ganzouri, had declared non-working public sector holidays on June 16 and 17, 2012, on account of the upcoming second round of the presidential election, and the month before (2012-05-22), Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) had similarly announced that the date of the first round of the presidential election, Thursday, May 24, 2012, would be a non-working public holiday in Egypt.
