Haiti Public Holiday June 19

The Office of Communication of the Presidency of Haiti has announced that Haiti's President had once again issued an Executive Order declaring Thursday, June 19, 2014, as an additional one-off non-working public holiday throughout Haiti to coincide with this year's "Corpus Christi" holiday.

As per the aforementioned statement, "l'administration publique, les écoles, le commerce et l'industrie chômeront, le jeudi 19 juin 2014, jour de la « Fête-Dieu”.".

This is the second year in a row (2013-05-28) that the Presidency of Haiti declares a one-off non-working public holiday in Haiti for Corpus Christi, after ruling it out, the year before (2012-05-16).
