Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Friday, June 6, 2014, would once again be a non-working public holiday for citizens of the Orthodox faith in Macedonia on account of the upcoming annual Friday before Pentecost annual sectorial non-working public holiday.
The above as in previous years (2013-06-18), is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2014 public holidays in Macedonia, as published and confirmed earlier this year (2014-01-11), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and Br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
