The State Secretary of Malaysia's State of Terengganu, Datuk Mazlan Ngah, has declared that Sunday, July 27, 2014, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in Malaysia's State of Terengganu to link the upcoming Hari Raya (End of Ramadan) Malaysian non-working public holiday with the preceding Friday-Saturday state weekend.

Apparently, the Malaysian State of Terengganu will be the only state with a Friday-Saturday weekend to declare Sunday, July 27, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday, as the 2 states of Kelantan and Johor (2013-11-23) have already announced officially that Sunday, July 27, 2014, would not be a one-off non-working public holiday.

The only other Malaysian State with a Friday-Saturday weekend, Kedah, has not issued any statement yet on the possible declaration of Sunday, July 27, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday to link the upcoming Hari Raya (End of Ramadan) Malaysian non-working public holiday with the preceding Friday-Saturday state weekend.
