Maldives 2014 Public Holidays Announced

The government of the Maldives has released its annual list of official public holidays for the calendar year 2014.

As was the case in past years (2013-01-07, 2012-01-06, 2011-01-04, 2010-01-05, 2009-01-06, 2008-01-04 and 2007-01-05), the list confirms the dates of the Maldives public holidays that are based on the Islamic calendar, and adds the new annual Labour Day public holiday announced 3 years ago (2011-04-29).
