A few weeks before the expected birth of the Monaco Royal Twins, Monaco's ruling Prince Albert II has announced that their upcoming birth would be marked by a one-off non-working public holiday in Monaco.

The aforementioned one-off non-working public holiday in Monaco for the birth of the Monaco Royal Twins would be in addition to last fall's (2013-11-06) "Communiqué n° 2013-09 du 4 novembre 2013 relatif à la liste des jours chômés et payés pour l'année 2014" which was published in the "Bulletin Officiel de la Principauté de Monaco N° 8145".

Friday and Saturday, July 1 and 2, 2011, were declared as one-off public holidays in Monaco, to coincide with the wedding of Prince Albert (2010-12-23).
