The government of Nepal has announced that Sunday, March 30, 2014, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in the capital, Kathmandu, and the Valley, on account of the annual Ghode Jatra festival of horses.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with last year's (2013-04-24) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2070 (mid-April 2013 to mid-April 2014).
