The North Korean government has released its annual list of official non-working public holidays in North Korea for the upcoming calendar year 2015.
As usual, the aforementioned announcement of the list of non-working public holidays in North Korea for the upcoming calendar year 2015 is closely watched for the apparition of a new annual non-working public holiday on January 8th (2014-01-08, 2013-12-31, 2013-01-08, 2010-12-23, 2010-01-07, and 2010-01-06), but to no avail.
However, a new annual non-working public holiday was added in North Korean calendars to mark the anniversary of the date when Kim Jong Il started work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
