Peru's Ministra de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Ana Ethel del Rosario Jara Velásquez, has announced that it had not come to a final decision concerning the possibility of declaring Tuesday, December 9, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Peru on account of the COP20.
The annual list of official non-working public holidays for both the private and public sectors of Peru for the upcoming calendar year 2014, as released earlier this year (2014-03-31), does not contain any such one-off bridge public holidays.
However, special public holidays have been declared in the past for international conferences held in Peru (2012-09-27 and 2008-11-19).
