The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Sudan has declared that Thursday, January 1, 2015, would be a public holiday in all parts of the country on the occasion of the anniversary of the independence of Sudan.
The aforementioned announcement, for 2015, is in line with last year's (2014-01-07) announcement of the list of official non-working national public holidays in the Republic of Sudan for the calendar year 2014, as the list of official non-working national public holidays in the Republic of Sudan for the calendar year 2015 has not yet been announced.
