The government of Afghanistan has declared Sunday, September 20, 2015, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Afghanistan to commemorate the fourth assassination anniversary of the former president and high peace council chief Burhanuddin Rabbani.

The aforementioned announcement will be in addition to the announcement, earlier this year (17-Jan-2015), by the government of Afghanistan, of the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan for the calendar year 2015.
