The Bonaire Deputy Minister of the Interior and for Kingdom Relations, Jonah Chirino, has announced that the Bonaire government had amended its previously-released annual list of official non-working public holidays in Bonaire for the calendar year 2015, by re-instating Rincon Day as a non-working public holiday in Bonaire, at least for the calendar year 2015.
As per the aforementioned announcement, April 30, 2015, Rincon Day, will be a non-working public holiday in Bonaire, after a year's absence, following the cancellation of the public holiday on April 30, for a new King's Birthday public holiday on April 27 (2014-11-15, 2013-09-29 and2013-01-30).
It would appear that the Bonaire government is considering making the April 30, Rincon Day, an annual non-working public holiday in Bonaire again in exchange for the cancellation of the December 15, Kingdom Day, public holiday (2012-01-10, 2011-11-23, 2008-09-12 and 2008-05-09), perhaps as early as this year.
