Greece Extends Annual Public Holidays

Greece's new Minister of Labour, Panos Skurletis, has announced that, as part of his government's policies, the Greek government had decided to declare all Sundays of the year as official non-working public holidays in Greece.

Apparently, no mention was made of restoring the 6 additional days of public sector holidays in Greece which were granted in 1989 to civil servants who worked on a computer for more than five hours a day, and which were canceled last year by the previous government (15-Sep-2013).
