The Government of India's state of Tamil Nadu has announced that it had amended its previously-released annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Tamil Nadu for the calendar year 2015, by moving the date of the upcoming Muharram (Ashura) non-working public holiday from Friday, October 23, to Saturday, October 24, 2015.
As per the aforementioned announcement, the change of the upcoming Muharram (Ashura) non-working public holiday from the previously-announced (2014-11-24) date of Friday, October 23, to Saturday, October 24, 2015, was made at the request of chief Kazi to the Tamil Nadu state government, as was the case in the past (2014-10-01 and 2013-11-12).
