The annual official list of non-working public holidays in Iran for the upcoming Persian year 1394, running from March 21, 2015, to March 19, 2016, has been released.

The aforementioned list of official public holidays in Iran for 2015-2016 is the same as in recent years (2014-03-08, 2013-03-11, 2012-03-24, 2011-03-05, 2010-03-16, 2009-03-04, 2008-03-11, and 2007-03-08), and it mainly moved a few public holidays based on the Islamic Calendar to the following day.

For the 10th year in a row, the list of official public holidays in Iran still includes all five annual public holidays meant to have been canceled in 2005 by Iran's Majles Social Committee (2005-08-18).

The aforementioned definitive and official list of public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1394, running from March 21, 2015, to March 19, 2016, for the third year, adds a second day to the 2015 Eid-e-Fitr public holidays in Iran.
