At a cabinet meeting, late last night, the government of Jordan decided to declare Monday, November 30, 2015, the first day of the upcoming 10-day 2015 population census as a one-off non-working public holiday in Jordan.
The aforementioned announcement of a one-off non-working public holiday on Monday, November 30, 2015, on account of the upcoming population census, is in addition to the released (2014-12-21), list of annual non-working bank holidays and public holidays in Jordan for the calendar year 2015.
Jordanian one-off public holidays are usually declared for weather reasons (2015-02-18, 2013-12-11, 2013-01-09, 2013-01-08, 2008-01-31 and 2008-01-30).
