The press service of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that the Government of Kyrgyzstan had ruled-out the declaration of another additional non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan on Friday, September 25, 2015, to link the upcoming Kurman Ait (Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holiday of Kyrgyzstan with the subsequent weekend.

The aforementioned announcement is in line with the calendar of annual non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan for the calendar year 2015, announced late last year (2014-12-29 and 2014-12-26).

A one-off non-working public holiday on Friday, September 25, 2015, to link the upcoming Kurman Ait annual non-working public holiday of Kyrgyzstan with the subsequent weekend, had been deemed possible as additional one-off non-working public holidays are often declared in Kyrgyzstan to link mid-week public holidays of Kyrgyzstan with the preceding of subsequent weekend (2014-12-26, 2014-07-26, 2013-12-25, 2013-04-28, 2011-04-25, 2011-02-28, 2010-10-07, 2010-08-25, 2010-02-15, 2009-12-11, 2008-12-19 and 2007-12-27).
