Liberian Armed Forces Public Holiday Tomorrow

The President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has issued a proclamation declaring Wednesday, February 11th, 2015, as the date of the upcoming Armed Forces Day, a non-working public holiday to be observed throughout the country as a national holiday.

As per custom on these last-minute re-confirmations of annual public holidays (2014-02-09, 2014-07-23, 2013-05-13, 2013-04-05, 2013-03-13, 2012-11-27, 2012-10-31, 2012-07-23, 2011-11-01, 2011-04-06, 2010-11-03, 2010-07-23 and 2010-04-08), the Foreign Ministry release states that "the Proclamation orders all Government Offices, Public and Business Houses be closed in observance of the day".
