The Government of Morocco, through its "ministère de la fonction publique et de la modernisation de l'administration", has confirmed its previously-announced date for the upcoming 2015 Aid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Morocco, following an announcement by the "ministère des Habous et des affaires islamiques".
The aforementioned announcement of the dates for the upcoming 2015 Aid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Morocco, as Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25, 2015 (the second day only for the public sector), is in line with the dates of the Muslim non-working public holidays in Morocco for the calendar year 2015, as announced late last year (2014-10-21).
Moroccan dates for the upcoming Aid Al Adha were not affected by last night's surprise announcement of a change in the date of the upcoming Eid al Adha by Saudi Arabia (2015-09-13), as Morocco follows its own Islamic Calendar.
