Nicaragua Public Holidays December 7-8

Nicaragua's Ministry of Labour (MITRAB) has announced that Monday, December 7, 2015, would be an additional public sector non-working public holiday in Nicaragua ("asueto a cuenta de vacaciones") on account of the December 7, Día de la Gritería, leading to the December 8, annual, Immaculate Conception Day public holiday in Nicaragua.

Last minute announcements of additional public and/or private sector full day/afternoon public sector holidays in Nicaragua, around the December 8, "Inmaculada Concepción de María", have been common over the years (2014-12-03, 2013-12-06, 2012-11-24, 2011-11-29, 2010-12-06 and 2009-11-21).
