The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abba Moro, in a statement released by the ministry's Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Magaji, has announced that the Nigerian Federal Government had declared Friday, May 1st, 2015, as a non-working public holiday in Nigeria.
As was the case in past years (2014-04-29, 2013-04-27 and 2012-04-27), the aforementioned declaration of Friday, May 1st, 2015, as a non-working public holiday in Nigeria corresponds to the upcoming annual public holiday for Workers' Day.
