Nigerian Public Holiday October 1

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abubakar Magaji, has announced that the Nigerian Government, in a statement signed by the Ministry's Director of Press, Yusuf Isiaka, had declared Thursday, October 1st, 2015, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria on account of Nigeria's upcoming 55th annual independence anniversary.

The aforementioned declaration of Thursday, October 1st, 2015, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria is in line with similar announcements over the past years (2014-09-25, 2013-09-24, 2012-09-28, 2011-09-26 and 2010-09-23).
