The North Korean government has announced that it was amending its previously-released annual list of official non-working public holidays in North Korea for the upcoming calendar year 2015.

As per the aforementioned announcement, with immediate effect, the date of the North Korean non-working public holiday for the anniversary of the foundation of the Chosun People's Army, will be changed from April 25, to February 8.

This thus amends the previously-released list of official non-working public holidays in North Korea for the calendar year 2015, which already included a new annual non-working public holiday to mark the anniversary of the date when Kim Jong Il started work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (2014-11-29).
