The Government of Rwanda has released a communique announcing that Friday, December 18, 2015, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Rwanda on account of the upcoming referendum on the removal of a two-term limit for President from the Rwandan constitution.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, December 18, 2015, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Rwanda on account of the upcoming referendum on the removal of a two-term limit for President from the Rwandan constitution, is in addition to the earlier (26-Jan-2015) release of the full list of official non-working public holidays in Rwanda for the calendar year 2016 by the Rwandan government, as amended by the "Presidential Order N42/03 Of 30/06/2015 Determining Official Holidays" ("Iteka Rya Perezida N42/03 Ryo Ku Wa 30/06/2015 Rishyiraho Iminsi Y?ibiruhuko Rusange") which recently amended the list of Rwandan non-working public holidays (01-Jul-2015 and 18-May-2015).
