The Consejo de Gobierno de la Junta de Castilla y León has announced its annual list of official regional non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León for the calendar year 2016.

In the aforementioned list of official regional public holidays for the calendar year 2016, the Consejo de Gobierno de la Junta de Castilla y León has decided to include the Monday that follows the "Fiesta del Trabajo" and "Natividad del Señor" annual non-working public holidays of Spain, which, in 2016, will occur on a Sunday.

This means that, as was the case for the past 3 years (2014-08-29, 2013-09-19, 2013-09-13 and 2012-09-17), but contrary to previous years (2011-09-02, 2010-09-17), the Saint Joseph's Day holiday on March 19, and the July 25, Santiago Apóstol holidays, will not be regional public holiday in Castilla y León in 2016.
