The Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana has announced its annual official calendar of non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Valencia for the upcoming calendar year 2016.

As per the aforementioned announcement, in its annual official calendar of non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Valencia for the upcoming calendar year 2016, the Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana decided to move 2 of the 3 fixed-date public holidays that fall on a Sunday in 2016, but not to the following Monday, but rather to Maundy Thursday and Easter Monday, thus creating a 5-day period of non-working public holidays in 2016 in Spain's autonomous region of Valencia, contrary to what was done in previous years (2014-07-11, 2013-09-17 and 2012-09-27).
