The President of Cameroon, Paul Biya, has declared Monday, May 2, 2016, as a day in lieu non-working public holiday (feriée chômée sur toute l'étendue du territoire de la république du Cameroun) due to the annual, May 1st, public holiday in Cameroon falling on a Sunday in 2016.
The aforementioned declaration of Monday, May 2, 2016, as a day in lieu non-working public holiday due to the May 1st public holiday in Cameroon falling on a Sunday, is in line with the list of official non-working public holidays in Cameroon for the calendar year 2016, released earlier this year (2016-01-18).
