Chilean 2016 Public Holidays Amended Again

(Posted on Sunday, October 16, 2016)

Chile's Ministro Secretario General de Gobierno has announced a revised version of the annual list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Chile ("Feriados de carácter general" and "Irrenunciable") for the calendar year 2016, which it had released last year in conjunction with Chile's Ministerio del Trabajo y Previsión Social and had already amended once last spring.

As was the case last spring (24-Apr-2016), when Chile's Ministro Secretario General de Gobierno had announced a revised version of the annual list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Chile for the calendar year 2016 (01-Jan-2016), today's further revision to the list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Chile for the calendar year 2016 is due to the inclusion of the date of the upcoming second round nationwide municipal elections("Elecciones Primarias Municipales").
