Egypt's Central Bank has announced that all Egyptian banks would be closed from September 11-13, 2016, inclusively, dates which have been declared bank holidays in Egypt on account of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual Egyptian bank and public holidays.
As is common (2015-12-31, 2015-07-21, 2014-07-25, 2013-07-21 and 2013-04-30), the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has also announced that it would be closed from September 11-13, 2016, inclusively, on account of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha annual Egyptian bank and public holidays.
Earlier this week (2016-09-06), Egyptian authorities had announced extended public sector's Eid Al-Adha non-working public holidays of 2016, for government clerical staff, would run from Sunday, September 11, 2016, until Thursday, September 15, 2016, for the Eid Al-Adha annual public holidays in Egypt.
